The Southwestern Illinois Board of REALTORS (SIBR) hosted a Golf Tournament filled with fun, games, and patriotism on September 11, 2023, at the Belk Golf Course in Woodriver, Illinois. The event drew over 135 participants, including golfers and sponsors, for a day of friendly competition and community support.
The tournament, themed “Red, White, and Blue,” was a tribute to the enduring spirit of the nation, commemorating the significance of September 11th. It brought together members of the real estate community, local businesses, and community members to support two essential causes: The Real Estate Educational Foundation (REEF) Foundation and the Violence Prevention Center.
One of the highlights of the event was the overwhelming support from sponsors, who generously contributed to the success of the tournament. Their commitment to these vital causes allowed SIBR to raise a remarkable $11,240 in total, with proceeds going toward both the REEF Foundation and the Violence Prevention Center. These contributions will make a meaningful impact on the communities served by these organizations, helping them provide essential services and support to those in need.
