The Southwestern Illinois Board of REALTORS® (SIBR) hosted a heartwarming Holiday Celebration on Thursday, December 5, 2024, at Dogwood Social House in Shiloh, Illinois, bringing together over 120 of their members to support a meaningful cause. For the second year in a row, in the spirit of giving, attendees generously donated toys and cash to benefit the local organization, Catholic Urban Program, which is dedicated to assisting children in need throughout the community.
During this event, many toys for various ages were collected to ensure that local children would have a brighter holiday season. The overwhelming generosity from SIBR members reflects the true spirit of the holidays, as they came together to make a positive impact on families in need.
Kristy Frawley, Director of Development & Communications for Catholic Urban Programs, expressed her gratitude, saying: “Thank you to the Southwestern Illinois Board of Realtors for your generous donation of Christmas gifts for the children we serve at Catholic Urban Programs. Your kindness helps us advance our mission to advance the dignity of every person, remediate the effects of poverty, and empower families to achieve self-sufficiency. Together, we are making the season brighter and hearts fuller.”
SIBR extends its thanks to all who participated in this successful event and made it a memorable occasion for everyone involved.
