Taste of SIBR: A Successful Evening of Community Support and Local Flavor

The Southwestern Illinois Board of REALTORS® (SIBR) is thrilled to announce the resounding success of this year’s Taste of SIBR event, held on November 13, 2024, at The Madison County Fireman Hall in Collinsville, Illinois The event, which brought together 18 SIBR Affiliates and REALTOR® members as booth sponsors, along with dozens of community members, raised funds to benefit 11 local food pantries, providing much-needed support to families in need across the 9 counties that SIBR currently serves.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of our attendees, sponsors, and vendors, we are pleased to announce that with the money raised during Taste of SIBR we will be able to distribute $600 each to 11 local food pantries. The total amount raised will go directly toward supporting families in need across the region. We are proud to be able to make such a meaningful impact in our community, and we look forward to sharing the final amount raised once all contributions are tallied.

The evening was filled with local food, great company, and a shared commitment to giving back to the community. Attendees were able to sample a variety of dishes, connect with fellow community members, and contribute to an important cause. The funds raised during the event will directly support local food pantries, making a significant impact in the fight against food insecurity in Southwestern Illinois.

“We are grateful for the energy, enthusiasm, and support of all our attendees, sponsors, and vendors at our Taste of SIBR event.” said Dave Toby of FCB Banks and one of SIBR’s platinum leveled sponsors “Thanks to the generosity of everyone involved, we are able to further our mission of giving back to the community and supporting the vital work of local organizations.”

The Southwestern Illinois Board of REALTORS® extends its gratitude to everyone who attended, supported, and participated in making this year’s Taste of SIBR a success. The event was a true celebration of the community’s commitment to making a positive impact.
