Our History
Since our founding in 1943, the Southwestern Illinois Board of REALTORS® (SIBR) has proudly served the Metro East Area, fostering a community of dedicated and professional REALTORS®. Over the decades, we have supported our members with a wealth of resources, including exclusive educational opportunities, member directories, and programs designed to strengthen community outreach. In 2022, the merger of two REALTOR® associations further solidified our commitment to excellence, making us stronger than ever as we continue to champion the success of our members and the communities they serve.
